Sophomore Bradley Bishop is the president of Interact Club, a volunteering club at Mountain Vista. “It’s a lot of fun, I get to work with everybody and what they think. We add new ideas all the time,” Bishop said.
“Interact is a club where we help out the community by doing tasks like last week we went around the high school and picked up trash. We also go to an Alzheimer’s home and play games with the patients and do activities.”
The club works to make the students get involved in their community, make a difference in other people’s lives and meet new people.
“I think people should join the club because it’s a fun way to not only get your community service hours in but to also have fun with others and to do community service in the most fun way,” Bishop said.
The clubs next volunteer opportunity is this Saturday, Sept. 17 doing the Friends of Gueoul Mailing. Be sure to attend their next meeting on Sept. 29 during soar.
