The Golden Eagle Marching Band participated in the Friendship Cup Competition at Prairie View High School on Sept. 29. The preliminary round started at 9:40 a.m. The band’s “Cause and Effect” themed performance captivated the judges and led them to place second in the AA category. This award secured them a place in the finals. At 7:30 p.m. the band performed for the final time. Their passionate performance earned them an overall title of fifth place.
