The Golden Eagle Marching Band competed against eleven other teams on Saturday Sept. 29 in the Friendship Cup Festival. The festival was held at Prairie View High School and marked the band’s first official competition. For this season the band’s show is titled “Safari” giving the team a new challenge and edge. The team placed seventh overall, and will continue to prepare for their biggest competition, held on Oct. 27-29 at the University of New Mexico.
