A Note From the Director, Mr. Michael Wright:
Come with us to Ancient Greece as we tell the tragic story of Hecuba! Stage Flight Theatre is excited to recreate a classical theatrical experience. Theatre was originally performed outside and in stone amphitheaters with a chorus of actors telling stories to the masses with unison songs. Beyond the script and mythology of the story we are utilizing numerous technical design elements to take you back in time. The stage uses a thrust, alter and Skene that were traditional in all ancient plays, the lights will represent the sun setting into the ocean, all sound effects are live and use home-made devices, and the Chorus and certain characters wear masks. We hope that you enjoy this unique piece of historical theatre.
