Vista’s very own senior Conner Davis has been declared a National Winner of the Quill and Scroll 2017 International Writing and Photo Contest for his photo titled, “Brian Wood Flexes with Wish Kid, Kenyan.” Of the 1,744 entries and 253 individual winners, Davis’ picture was the one that stood out to the international high school journalism honor society. As a senior, he is now eligible to apply for one of Quill and Scroll’s Journalism scholarships, which he has full intention of taking advantage of.
“It’s cool to see something I love being recognized by other people as quality work,” Davis said.
Davis works hard as an editor for MV Media and the staff and school are proud to have such a talented journalist in their midst.
