2016 is quickly drawing to a close which means that the 89th Academy Awards are not far away. The official list of nominees will not be announced until January, but VistaNow has decided to provide their own predictions for the nominees. These predictions have been based off of recent movies’ successes, trailers for upcoming films, critic and audience hype, and prediction lists from websites like indiewire.com and awardswatch.com. The official nominees for the 89th Oscars will be announced on January 24th, 2017 at 5:30 a.m. at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California. Nomination ballots will open online at www.oscars.org on February 13th and end on February 21st. The 89th Academy Awards ceremony will be held on February 26th.
