Mountain Vista’s class of 2016 graduated at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Wednesday, May 18.
The ceremony began with an address from student body president, Morgan O’Connor, followed the soon-t0-be graduates walking down the aisles, to their seats. After speeches and performances from honored seniors were delivered, advisement classes walked behind, and then onto the stage to receive their diplomas.
Seniors took their seats in the stands once again, and turned their tassels, signifying their completion of high school. With a toss of their hats and a few parting words, the class of 2016 left Red Rocks and their high school career behind.
