LEXI WEINGARDT On Monday April 25 senior Amy Huang received news that she was a national winner in the Quill and Scroll contest. Huang competed in the photography category in the contest.
Huang said she submitted a picture of Lauren Lamb and Kat Cash giving a speech during the Pink Out Football Game against Rock Canyon High School.
“Yes [I was proud of my submission] because it was one of my favorite pictures that I have taken,” Huang said. “It captured the moment and I just really liked it.”
Huang had never entered in the Quill and Scroll competition before this year so she said she wasn’t sure what to expect.
“Yeah [I was surprised] because I have never entered before,” Huang said.
