From Feb. 29 to March 4 Mr. Hoefs’s Creative Writing II class will be holding a bake sale during both lunches to raise money to fund the annual literary magazine.
A literary magazine is a special magazine dedicated to showcasing exceptional writing and artwork. The Mountain Vista literary magazine – Periphas – has a mission of expanding people’s perspectives through poetry, prose and art created by Vista students. The theme this year is “Elevate” on three levels: personal, local, and global. Submissions are open to anyone from the Vista community including students, teachers, faculty members, parents and siblings, but submissions must fit the theme. The deadline to submit work is March 4.
Support the literary magazine by purchasing homemade baked goods during both lunches and remember to submit work before March 4.
