“Death of a Bachelor” Review

“Death of a Bachelor” Review

ASHLEY DWYER

In this spontaneous, upbeat album, Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie creates a timeline of achievements leading up to his wedding, producing the tracks in the title song “Death of a Bachelor.”

In the energetic “LA Devotee” he uses the chorus to weave a love ballad for Los Angeles. The empowering” Impossible Year” reflects on all of the things he’s accomplished this year. “House of Memories” is a punky love song that your inner 18-year-old self would relate to — all with a frivolous baseline.

These tracks may not be found on the radio, but the indie sounds blaring from your headphones or car stereo definitely make you want to enjoy life in the slow lane and live life moment for moment.

I’ve only listed four songs off of this bodacious tracklist because the rest were so indescribably pop punk and rebellious you’ll just have to check them out for yourself.
