Dear Mr. Trump, Mr. Businessman, Mr. Apprentice and now Mr. Presidential Candidate,

My family members are all big fans of yours, while me… Not so much. It’s hard to be a fan of somebody who’s so against everything I believe in, but that’s neither here nor there. I’ve watched countless interviews, read all of your greatest tweets and of course watched you in the GOP debates, which may I say, you really stole the show with the not only offensive but also completely moronic comments made each time you opened your mouth. At least you’re consistent, a common theme of what conservatives want out of their presidential candidates.

Recently after Obama’s 2016 State of the Union speech, you tweeted something that predicts your future as a politician. “The #SOTU speech is really boring, slow, lethargic – very hard to watch!” Well I mean at least as an American citizen whose future quite possibly rests in the hands of the nation’s next president, this solidified all of my views on why you shouldn’t ever be president. If you are unable to sit through one of the most important speeches that the president gives each year, then I also think you are incapable of ever giving that speech.

I’ve been trying to figure out since you announced your intent to run for office if everything you say is a joke or not and now nearing closer to November, I still haven’t come to a decision. As long as you’ve been in public spotlight you’ve been talking without a filter. As a daughter and possibly a mother to a future daughter, I’m very concerned about that time where you said that if you weren’t Ivanka’s dad you’d date her. In case this hasn’t been pointed out yet, that’s extremely creepy. Your disrespectful demeanor doesn’t end there. You’ve treated multiple women in media as lesser than you and continually fight to defund Planned Parenthood. Might I remind you Mr. Trump that only 3 percent of the work PP does is abortion and whether or not you agree with such procedures, it is not your place to make decisions for American women over what they can and cannot do with their bodies. I understand you believe that you’re “pro-life” for supporting the unborn fetus, but you are against raising the minimum wage, affordable health and strengthening gun control laws. The only lives you’ve proven yourself to care for are the unborn ones, which aren’t even members of society yet. I wish the disrespect ended there, but it doesn’t. You’ve been quoted more times than once about how you believe that Muslims in America should wear specific badges to make everyone aware of their religion. I’m not sure how aware you are when it comes to World War II history, so let me let you in on a little secret, Hitler tried doing the same thing and it didn’t seem to have worked for him. Six million Jewish people died during WWII because of his need to find scapegoats as the cause of the first World War. I can go on forever about how bad anything you believe in would be for the people of the United States of America, but I think I’ve made a pretty solidified point. I’m 16, and I have a better understanding of how to treat others than you do. If you can’t learn to be respectful to the American people, you don’t deserve to be put in the most respected position in the free world.
