For homecoming week, on Tuesday, Sept. 22, Mountain Vista High School held its first ever Color Run. Volunteers, student leadership and cross country members threw green and yellow powder at students as they ran a course around the fields.
Senior Paxton Boyer was one of the students that helped organize the event in Student Leadership. “We’ve never done this before, and personally going into it I didn’t think it would be as great as it was,” Boyer said. “It was really cool and i think that’s because we did really good planning. Shout out to the girls who did that. I think we worked really hard to make a good event and everybody was really enjoying the vibe.”
