As the regular season comes to an end, Mountain Vista Men’s Lacrosse is preparing for the upcoming playoffs. During the regular season they maintained a 14-1 record and accomplished a league championship being 10-0. They continue to work relentlessly in hopes of getting a state title.
“We all come to practice everyday and give everything we have to be successful,” Coby Petau, 11, said.
The team also has looked back proudly on their season to see what they can improve on.
“We’ve had a successful regular season and it’s been the most fun I’ve ever had playing lacrosse. Our team is closer than ever, but, the playoffs is all that really matters. We all know our goal for this season and anything less than that will be disappointing,” Robert Erickson, 12, said.
To start off the playoffs, the team will play Fossil Ridge on May 6th, at 7:00, at Shea Stadium. “It should be an intense game because we are really hoping to go into the finals,” Cameron Cramer, 12, said.
