The following is a photo gallery of the Class of 2017 graduation at Red Rocks Amphitheater on Wednesday, May 17. The ceremony began with the soon-to-be graduates ascending the stairs to their seats. From there, Student Body President Sam Atlas introduced the choir who sang the National Anthem. Following the choir, Valedictorian Alec Yagey, as well as honor students Desa Paich and Leah Deminski, gave speeches to the graduating class. After speeches were delivered, advisement classes walked to the stage to receive their diplomas.

However, as speeches and performances commenced mother nature had something else in mind. Intense wind soon turned into a full blown rainstorm, but seniors stopped at nothing to get their diplomas. As soon as the last student walked, the few remaining graduates ended the sopping ceremony with the Mountain Vista school song.
