Maxwell Falls, a series of small waterfalls just slightly southwest of Evergreen, offers several trails that are perfect for a day-hike.
Local hiker Ashley Smith* often brings her dog, Mombo, hiking here.
“It’s just enough exercise,” Smith said. “He knows the trail very well.”
It is a very popular hike because it is only 50 minutes outside of Denver. Get an early start for a parking advantage.
To ensure the popularity of this trail doesn’t damage the environment, please be mindful of trash and where you park.
