On April 6, Mountain Vista hosted “Creative Arts Performance Night” to give students an opportunity to showcase their literary skills. That night, a widespread variety of pieces were performed – from poems to original songs to a genre of it’s own deemed “ploems.” “Ploems” are an original type of piece created by teachers Josh Bryant and Staci Stech. It starts as poem but uses basic concepts of a play to keep the audience interested. Junior, Blake Waechter and other students also used this idea to present their work. A total of 25 performers shared their work with an audience of over 50 students, parents and friends.
