On Oct. 18 freshman Samhita Bheemireddy was recognized as one of the smartest students worldwide at Johns Hopkins University as part of their international talent search. She took the college-level ACT when she was in eighth grade, along with 30,648 other students, grades two through eight, and placed in the top three percent.

“We are delighted to take a moment today to recognize these academically advanced students for their achievements and to honor the parents and teachers who have helped foster their love of learning,” Elaine Tuttle Hansen, executive director of CTY, said. “These are the builders and leaders of tomorrow, and as educators and citizens we need to do all we can to encourage their potential to think, create, collaborate, and persist.”

Please congratulate Bheemireddy on her accomplishment!
