Registration proved to be difficult for many Mountain Vista students this morning. It was not because of fees, schedules or parking for the most part, but because of the photo line.
Cameras to take mandatory identification photos were having technical difficulties from the start. At 8:00 a.m., the start of the senior registration, only one camera was operating out of the seven available.
About 30 minutes later, another started to work but printed the wrong photo for every ID. Cameras that work have been alternating ever since, proving to be a huge delay for the registration process.
Many seniors showed up at 8:00 a.m. only to be done at least two hours later, after the period for senior registration ended. One of the students was senior Amy Zhou. “The photo line was long and then I had to get my schedule changed,” Zhou said. “There were not a lot of cameras and there was only one line.”
Another student that was at the school for a long period of time was senior Ryder Strauss. “Most of their cameras are not working,” Strauss said. “I did not have very much fun at all.”
Registration is still in process at this time.
