A traffic signal at the intersection of University Boulevard and Venneford Ranch Road in Highlands Ranch is expected to be out for two days after being struck by a driver in a crash at around 11:45 p.m March 2.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has not released the identity of the driver and said the investigation is ongoing.
Northbound traffic has been reduced to a single lane in the area. Delays are expected throughout the day.
The sheriff’s office said that the traffic signal may be down for up to two days, but they are working to open up additional lanes.
