The men’s varsity hockey team hosted Monarch High School at South Suburban Ice Arena on Jan. 27, looking to win their first game since December.
From the face-off, the Golden Eagles struggled to maintain possession of the puck for majority of the game. Monarch outscored them in shots and drew several penalties from Mountain Vista defenders.
At the end of regulation and a hard fought game, Vista lost to the Coyotes, 7-2.
