Philosophy Club held their first meeting on the morning of Thursday, Oct. 9 in sponsor Josh Brandt’s room. Senior Chad Stacy and juniors Filip Pahs and Gib Smith decided to begin the club with intentions of pondering about philosophy.
The three began this because of their interest in philosophy. “Philosophy contains the origins in human thought and understanding human thought,” Smith said.
The first meeting consisted of an introductory video, titled “Monty Python Football” on YouTube, and members discussed as to whether a stool existed or not.
When asked about the timing of the next meeting, Pahs said, “Eventually.”
