On February 26, Unified Basketball held their last home game of the season vs. Mountain Ridge Middle School/Cresthill Middle School. Incoming freshmen players and seniors on the team were honored at halftime with balloons and flowers. Freshman Casey Marrinson, freshman Olivia Theonnes and senior Jenna Zecchino also performed with the cheer team at halftime.
Vista’s Unified team will be playing in the March Madness Basketball Tournament March 1 at Chatfield High School. Games are at 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. Awards will
held at 1:00 p.m.
The team will also be playing a five minute scrimmage before Monday’s Denver Nuggets game at 7 p.m. Tickets are on a special sale at www.nuggetstix.com/unified3mtnvista.
