As the annual rival basketball game against ThunderRidge High School commenced, hundreds of students and parents filled the gym in support of Gabby. While the game started out with a Vista lead, ThunderRidge caught up. In the end, Vista fell to ThunderRidge, 54-67.
However during half time Student Leadership held a Miracle Minute where not only Vista but ThunderRidge donated money to Gabby and her family. Although Gabby was unable to attend the basketball game due to an extreme fever, the Golden Eagles performed a half time dance in Gabby’s honor.

To wrap up the portion of Wish Week at the school, the boys varsity basketball team played ThunderRidge High School on Friday night. The team lost, 67-54, to the Grizzlies. Unfortunately, Gabby was unable to attend the game due to a health issue, but her position in the halftime cheer was filled by junior Cody King. Gabby was sorry she was unable to attend but left a message thanking all of her fans for their support.
