Senior Emily Albi is the president of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). “Being president is an amazing opportunity, I love going to all of the events and getting the chance to tailor your own experience due to personal experiences,” Albi said.
“Business can span into every aspect of your life when you grow up,” she said. Being a part of this club allows students to go to in-school meetings, compete in business competitions, participate in stock market challenges and contact business leaders and owners.
“FBLA is a unique club because it brings people from all over the school to once place for the same thing. You get the chance to talk and compete against and with great minds that you never would have met before,” Albi said.
Since the informational meeting has already passed, follow @mvhs_fbla on twitter for updates on meetings, contact club sponsor Reed Kinder for more information if you are interested in competing in business related activities in a non traditional classroom setting.
