Vista’s ice hockey team has had quite the week. Last Friday the team beat Heritage 9-3 and won the second annual Eagle cup. The next day the team beat Cheyenne Mountain 4-1 and on Monday the team moved up one spot in the state rankings to No. 5.
Over the past three games, Vista has dominated their opposition scoring 26 goals and only allowing six goals against.
Vista is currently on a 6 game win streak and their next game is Friday, Jan. 29 against Rampart at South Suburban. A win against Rampart could very well move Vista up in the state rankings up to No. 4 next week.
