As October comes to a close, the frightening festivities that the month is known for can commence, starting with Mountain Vista’s Trick or Treat Street. The prelude to Halloween invites kids to Vista so they can Trick or Treat without the fear of being on the streets at night. The event is the culmination of various clubs working together, including Family Career and Community Leaders of America, UNICEF, Book Club, Link Crew, Key Club, Interact Club, Vista Volleyball and Student Leadership. Students can also find something they enjoy, according to senior Gwen Clark, an FCCLA officer. “It’s fun to come and see kids you know, and to see teachers with their kids,” Gwen said. Trick or Treat Street is on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Vista.
