On Tuesday, Nov.12, Wellness Week focused on helping students in our MVHS community become more aware of building healthy habits in nutrition and movement to maintain healthy habits. The day started with the clubs HOSA, Key Club, Leadership, and Catering giving out healthy snacks at every entrance door around the school to all students to help start the day off with a healthy snack. As the day progressed, classes were given 15 minutes of either Yoga or Brain Breaks during classes throughout the day to help calm both the body and mind. As the day came to a close, there was a Wellness Fair during both A and B lunches to allow students to walk the fair to see healthy options of gyms around our community , physical fitness centers, and yoga centers to see options to maintain healthy habits outside of Wellness Week
