The Battle of the Ancient Gods has begun and the Gladiators have gone home after a spectacular start to Homecoming week!
Yesterday was Gladiator Day and many people sported their jerseys for their favorite teams. Much of the student body participated which is always great fun. We also had many members of Studle welcoming their peers at the front door before school.
The night’s events started with a Varsity Softball game against Castle View at 3:00 p.m. Then, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. There was an In-N-Out Food Truck fundraiser sponsored by the ladies Volleyball team at the front gate of Halftime Help stadium. At 6:00 p.m. there was a Unified game against the MVHS Lacrosse team, of which the Unified team handily beat the boys’ lacrosse team in kickball. The Powderpuff game started at 7:30. The game was the usual exciting competition between warring grade levels with the senior team of players coming out on top.
In all, it was a busy first day and Tuesday is set to be packed with many spectacular events where grade levels dress in specific class colors to represent ancient gods.
