Vista’s junior varsity softball team hosted Castle View High School on Oct. 1 at Mountain Vista High School.
“I thought our team played pretty well on Monday,” sophomore Skylar Standen said. “We did a good job on the defensive side but [we] didn’t really capitalize [on] offense.”
The Golden Eagles scored three runs in the first inning but were unable to keep their lead. Vista lost the game to the Sabercats, 12-8.
