Vista took the lead in this year’s Liberty Bell Meet at Heritage High School on Sept. 8. Five out of six teams got first place. Open boys got second place to Chaparral High School.
“I don’t really think any of us got nervous, I think we were just kinda excited to race,” varsity runner, junior Sarah O’Sullivan said. “We were all just joking around with each other and having a good time trying to keep the nerves out of it as much as possible.”
Cross Country’s next meet is Dave Sanders Invitational at Columbine High School on Sept. 21.
