The varsity hockey team matched up against Cherry Creek on Jan. 20 tying, 2-2 in overtime. As for Vista, senior Ben Reinholtz said the team played strong at the start of the game, but “collapsed” in the third period and overtime. The team’s next game is against Monarch High School Friday, Jan. 26 at South Suburban Ice Arena at 8:00 p.m.
