On September 3rd, Mountain Vista’s freshman football team took to the MVHS field to play against Poudre High School in their first game.
The team has been practicing since June 20 and ended their first game of the season with a losing score of 74-36.
Freshman Kyle Wilkinson sat this game out due to a foot injury, but has been with the team since the beginning of the year.
“I just think that our team shouldn’t be scared of getting that ball,” Wilkinson said. “I think that would help us a lot.”
The team will be playing again this Saturday against Rangeview High School at RVHS in Aurora.
