Wednesday, Oct. 9 Mountain Vista High School hosted its annual Chili Cook-off. Parents and players from all levels provided an event having over 30 chili creations from secret family recipes.
Freshman coach Todd Ruppert said, “Who doesn’t like chili, everybody likes chili.”
This event is a great opportunity for parents, team members and students to interact and hang out with each other outside of watching them play football. “Its a great way to give back to the fans,” varsity coach Jason Fisher said.
The annual Chili Cook Off supports the football program and provides a hearty dinner for all. “The best part is that we get to eat whatever is left,” said Sophomore Jaxyn McKesson the JV team’s running back.
