The varsity baseball team played Cherry Creek High School on Mar. 26.

Vista took an early lead over the Bruins, scoring three runs in the first inning. During the second and third inning, both teams’ defense didn’t allow a runner score. In the fourth inning, Vista scored seven more runs on Cherry Creek. The Golden Eagles scored five runs in the fifth, leading to a mercy rule over the Bruins.

In the end, Vista improved their season record to 7-2, beating Cherry Creek, 15-2.
