The men’s varsity basketball team, ranked number one in the state, traveled to Chaparral High School on Jan. 15 to take on the number two ranked Wolverines.
Vista struggled to keep up with Chaparral throughout the entire game. The Golden Eagles were upset by the Wolverines, 66-48.
Currently, the Golden Eagles are now ranked third in the state behind Grandview and Chaparral High Schools.
